To whom it may concern, I am an Albertan who values life. I value being able to have a physician who would NOT refer me to end my life or another person's life against their conscience. Please do not force doctors to go against their own conscience and/or beliefs! Forcing doctors to refer for procedures they disagree with will force doctors out of the profession or to sunnier destinations, making access even more difficult to have a family physician. The current system is working fine. As others have said - the name is Alberta Health Services and should not be Alberta Death Services.
